Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the Cedarwise website, the diagnostic, or the membership, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. What Cedarwise is

Cedarwise provides educational tools for understanding employee benefits and tax-advantaged accounts: the free diagnostic computes estimates from the information you provide, and the paid membership keeps a calendar of your benefits computed from the facts you enter and confirm. Cedarwise, Inc. is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary, and does not provide individualized investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Educational output

Everything Cedarwise shows you, including AI-generated summaries and reports, is educational information computed from your inputs and public plan data. Estimates can be wrong: verify details against your own plan documents, and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

4. The membership

Cedarwise offers annual membership at $240 per year and monthly membership at $25 per month, paid in advance and renewing automatically until canceled. Stripe processes payment; Cedarwise does not store card numbers. You may cancel future renewals at any time from Account → Manage billing in your benefits portal and retain access through the billing period you have paid for.

Annual memberships include a 90-day money-back guarantee on the first annual payment. Request a full refund of that payment by emailing support@cedarwise.ai within 90 days; the refund ends membership access. Monthly memberships do not include this guarantee.

Founding-member status is available only to the first 20 annual members. Founding members keep their $240 yearly price while their annual membership remains active. Monthly memberships are not eligible for founding-member status. Other prices may change with notice before renewal.

5. Accounts and data accuracy

You are responsible for the security of your login. The calendar is computed from the facts you provide and public plan data; Cedarwise does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and keeping your facts current is what keeps the calendar right.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no scraping at scale, probing, disrupting, or attempting to access data that is not yours.

7. Termination

You may end your membership at any time, and request deletion of your data as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Cedarwise is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedarwise, Inc. is not liable for financial losses, data inaccuracies, or damages arising from use of the service.

9. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
