Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using the Cedarwise website, the diagnostic, the waitlist, or the Cedarwise app, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
2. What Cedarwise is
Cedarwise provides educational tools for understanding employee benefits and tax-advantaged accounts: the free diagnostic computes estimates from the information you provide, and the Cedarwise app (in development) aggregates financial data from accounts you link to show your financial picture. Cedarwise, Inc. is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary, and does not provide individualized investment, tax, or legal advice.
3. Educational output
Everything Cedarwise shows you, including AI-generated summaries and reports, is educational information computed from your inputs and public plan data. Estimates can be wrong: verify details against your own plan documents, and consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
4. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist stores your email and questionnaire answers so we can contact you at launch. It creates no payment obligation and no entitlement to future features.
5. Accounts and data accuracy
In the app, you are responsible for the security of your login. Financial data comes from third-party providers and your institutions; Cedarwise does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
6. Subscriptions
The Cedarwise membership, when available, is an annual subscription that begins with a free trial. Billing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are stated at the point of purchase.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no scraping at scale, probing, disrupting, or attempting to access data that is not yours.
8. Termination
You may delete your app account at any time, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Cedarwise is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedarwise, Inc. is not liable for financial losses, data inaccuracies, or damages arising from use of the service.
10. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
